An appliance repair website for JT Service in London

jt-service.co.uk
The JT Service homepage

JT Service repairs domestic appliances across London and inside the M25 — washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, fridge-freezers, dryers and more. Their customers usually have a broken machine and want someone round quickly, so we built a website that gets them from search to booked visit in as few steps as possible.

The business

JT Service has been fixing appliances in London for more than fifteen years. Engineers cover every make, from Bosch and Miele to Beko and Hotpoint, and repair washing machines, dishwashers, ovens and cookers, electric hobs, fridges and freezers, tumble dryers and washer-dryers, combination microwaves and extractor hoods. They also install new appliances. Visits run into the evenings and at weekends at no extra cost, and every repair carries a six-month guarantee.

What the site had to do

Nobody browses for an appliance engineer. They search when the washing machine has stopped mid-cycle, and they want two answers immediately: can you come soon, and what will it cost? A website that makes them hunt for either loses the job to the next result.

What we built

  • Booking in the first screen. The online booking form sits right at the top of the homepage. Visitors choose the appliance, pick its make from a full list of brands, choose a date and a morning, afternoon or evening slot, and describe the fault. It works around the clock.
  • Prices on the page, not hidden behind a call. Each appliance has its own card with fixed prices that include VAT and cover both the call-out and the repair, with separate figures for freestanding and integrated machines. The diagnosis-only charge is stated plainly too.
  • The three promises that win the job, repeated where they matter: same-day visits, fixed prices and the six-month guarantee.
  • Every way to get in touch. A landline, a mobile that doubles as WhatsApp, email and the booking form — so people can use whichever they prefer.
  • A page for each service, and a simple three-step explanation of how a visit works, from booking to a working appliance.

Built to be found

The page title targets the searches that bring in work — Appliance Repair London, followed by washing machine, oven and fridge repair. Beyond the service pages, the site has area pages for North, South, East, West and Central London and for places such as Newham, Stratford, Canary Wharf, Tower Hamlets and the City of London. Someone searching for a repair near them finds a page written about their area.

Owned outright

The JT Service website belongs to the business. The files are theirs, it can live with any hosting company, and any developer can maintain it. There is no monthly platform fee standing between the company and its own website.
